GUIDELINES FOR FACILITY USE

Welcome to this great new facility! We are happy to assist you in any way we can to make your event a success.

The purpose of this document is to provide users with a checklist of items that must be complied with to insure that the center is in the same condition after an event as before an event. The staff at the Center are here to assist you towards this end as we strive to protect this valuable resource for the future. The presence of a representative from your event at all times during the event and compliance with the items listed below will help insure a full cleaning deposit refund.

1. All litter must be picked up and disposed of in the city trash dumpsters located at the back of the building.

2. All table, stage, chair and counter surfaces must be clean.

3. All bathrooms must be clean of trash and dirt on the floors, mirrors, counters, stalls, walls and toilet surfaces. Staff should be notified immediately of plumbing problems that may have occurred.

4. Carpets will be left clean. User should be prepared to spot clean any areas that have been stained.

5. Floors should be vacuumed and swept as needed.

6. Walls, windows or any other surface that is considered part of the facility shall be left in its original condition, i.e. clean, whole and undamaged.

7. Any other items that are required in order to leave the facility in the same condition as rented.

8. All damage or equipment loss shall be reported to staff immediately after the event or by 8:30 a.m. on the following day.

9. All items listed above shall be done immediately after the event is completed.

IF YOUR EVENT LASTS BEYOND 2:00 A.M. AND HAS NOT BEEN RENTED BY YOUR GROUP, THE FOLLOWING WILL APPLY:

1. Staff will try to accommodate you for time in the facility for items listed above to be done. This will be based on a time available basis for the facility and staff.

2. There will be a charge of $10.00 per hour for janitorial staff to reinstate the facility to its original condition prior to the event. This will be deducted from the cleaning deposit and could result in additional fees assessed to the Lessee.
